What is an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU)?
To address the affordable housing crisis, new state laws allow property owners and landlords to build one or multiple units on their residential zoned property, known as an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU). We know that can be a mouthful, so we prefer to call them backyard homes, which “sounds like they have a lot more potential, don’t you think?”
